Emma started showing dogs at the age of 9 and her main passion in life is for her Mastiffs which she has shown all over the country. Emma has also represented the U.K in Junior Handling, having been placed 2nd in the world in Belgium in 1995. At Crufts 2008 Emma had the highlight of her show career winning Best Of Breed in Mastiffs with Womble or as he is known in the show ring Ch. Chevelu Easter Parade For Heffalump.

Emma’s parents owned a boarding kennels and grooming parlour when she was growing up and she was always heavily involved in looking after all the dogs. She has been secretary and main co-ordinator for the main breed rescue as well as running a self sufficient rescue called Mastiffs In Need. Emma’s understanding and patience with the rescue Mastiffs has been rewarded time and time again when once nervous or over excitable dogs have been re-homed into a loving family environment.

Emma is currently studying Canine Massage and is looking to practise this when her course is complete and then go on to study in Canine Behaviour in the hope of becoming a canine behaviourist as well.
